1 day rock climbing excursion to the Meseta de Copoya, Tuxla Gutierrez, Chiapas
This excursion will suit those who would like to try rock climbing for the first time as well as advanced climbers.

If you would like to try rock climbing or learn more about techniques such as rappel, this excursion to the Meseta de Copoya is perfect for you.
The area is famous for its high quality limestone cliffs with over 50 climbing routes of all levels, for beginner to advanced level climbers.
(Climbing Grades: 5.6 - 5.12 USA or 4c-7c France)

When you arrive to the woods, before starting the hiking to the meseta, you will enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez.
To reach the cliffs you will take a short 20 minute hike along trails shaded by the dense canopy of the forest.

The excursion is mainly organized on weekends, although extra trips can be arranged.
The departure is either from San Cristobal de Las Casas at 8am or from Tuxtla Gtz at 9.30am.
Climbing activities will last around 5-6 hours.
