2 days and 2 nights camping, rafting and rappel tour, Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosi
Rafting crystal clear waters in a tropical jungle is an amazing experience: the turquoise of the rivers contracts with the white lime stones and the green trees lining the riverbanks.
The Santa Maria River is very famous for its Class III white waters, beautiful rock gardens, and the imposing Tamul waterfall. The tropical forests in the surroundings are lush and home to a huge variety of birds and parrots; you will enjoy this stunning landscape and the flight of the birds over your head during your descent.
The rafting will not be the only experience filling you with adrenaline: you will have the chance to practice some rappel (climbing) at the 105 meters high Tamul waterfall and descend to the bottom in a typical regional canoe.
You do not need any previous experience in either rafting or rappel, as these descents are quite safe and not too difficult; and you will be accompanied by certified expert guides.
The delicious Acamayas (big prawns) traditionally prepared in this region are not to be missed!
Accommodation will be in big tents for 2-3 people with queen-size inflatable mattress. There will be a big dining-tent with equipped kitchen, table and chairs.
Possibility of accommodation in bungalows at extra charge.

Take also some warm clothes, as the night can be chilly (min temperature about 5 degrees Celsius) and a swim suit.
