3 days rafting adventure in Jalcomulco, Veracruz
This expedition combines exciting river adventures with nature watching and some relax in the green state of Veracruz: a short break of good fun escaping from the busy everyday life.
Your 'base' will be the village of Jalcomulco, approx, 45 minutes from Jalapa, Veracruz.
Jalcomulco has become one of the most sought after locations in Mexico for adventure travel - especially rafting - thanks to the famous river Rio Pescados (Rio La Antigua), which offers white water rafting all year long.
You don't need to be an athlete to take part to this tour: you will not have problems if your general health and physical conditions are good.
There will always be certified and experienced guides helping you and making sure your trip will be pleasant and safe. They will also provide you with interesting information about the places you will be visiting.
Accommodation is at La Posada hotel, offering rooms with private bathrooms and all comforts, like air conditioning or fans. La Posada was a private house which has been converted into an ecotourist guesthouse. You will love sitting outdoor and enjoying the shade in the old Mexican patio, which will remind you of the golden age of the coffee, when enormous plantations dominated the region.
The Posada is famous for Dona Rosa's exquisite meals. She supervises the kitchen preparing tasty dishes according to the Mexican tradition.
There are also welcoming common areas, a bar and a ping pong table.
