Whales Watching & Kayaking Camping tour

  • 7 days whale watching and camping tour in Magdalena Bay, Baja California Sur
Sheltered by low barrier islands, the waters of Magdalena Bay provide a perfect and peaceful winter home to hundreds of California Gray Whales. These magnanimous creatures allow us to watch them roll, breach and tend to their young, an experience both exhilarating and humbling.

It's difficult to conjure up a more unique place than Magdalena Bay, a complex and captivating environment characterized by endlessly shifting sand dunes, brilliantly blooming desert flora, twisting mangrove-lined estuaries and, most magnificent of all, the California Gray Whale.

One visit and your will understand why the whales travel 5,000 miles to their winter respite.
Whale watching is the primary activity yet you will find plenty of opportunities for hiking kayaking and beach exploring as well. Watch for herons, egrets and ibis while you paddle your kayak through the mangroves and peaceful waters of the bay.

The camp will be situated on a secluded beach and equipped with every amenity from over-sized tents to solar heated showers, offering exclusive water front accommodation and close proximity to whale viewing area.
Cabin tents are equipped with bedding, table, chairs, lantern, and cots upon request.
