NATURE WALKS
Enjoy wonderful walks along a lush riverbed through the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere Reserve to a beautiful desert waterfall, where you will have a picnic lunch.
This is an easy, 2-hour walk on an even path. The trip lasts about 4 hours in total.
CACTUS SANCTUARY TOUR
You will head across the desert to a magnificent forest of cacti, where you will be surrounded by towering, spiny forms of incredible variety and beauty. It is a truly unique experience that should not be missed by cactus lovers.
After the cactus sanctuary, you will visit the beautiful pueblo of San Juan de Las Gallinas, a little town unspoiled by tourism, where time seems to have stopped.
DESERT TRIPLE WATERFALL ADVENTURE
This is a magnificent walk through a desert canyon, where you will encounter 3 beautiful waterfalls. You will enjoy the oasis atmosphere created by the lush foliage unleashed by the waterfalls in the desert, as well as the unusual effect of the gushing water being rapidly absorbed by the thirsty sands.
This is an easy, two-hour walk. Some mild climbing is involved in a couple of areas.
BIRD WATCHING
Todos Santos' unique tropical setting between desert and ocean means it has a wide range of birds. You will watch birds in pristine surroundings around sunrise and/or sunset, when many species are most active.
During this trip you will have the chance to meet the following birds in fields, deserts and saltwater marshes:
Gila woodpeckers, roadrunners, nighthawks, hummingbirds, egrets, blue herons, frigatebirds, ospreys, pelicans, orioles, warblers, finches, turkey vultures, hawks, tanagers, mockingbirds, wrens, doves, flycatchers, ibis, sparrows, ducks, owls, caracaras, terns, gulls, cormorants, vireos, avocets, quails and kingfishers.
