Coastal Sea Kayaking

  • 10 days coastal kayaking from Loreto to La Paz, Baja California Sur
Kayaks provide one of the most versatile and pleasurable ways to travel along Baja: this is the perfect trip for those who like the challenge of a longer paddling expedition. An unmatched wilderness adventure.

There is an unparalleled thrill that comes when you guide your kayak along a 65 mile stretch of coast inaccessible by any road, untouched by modern civilization. Hugging the untamed stretch of coast between Loreto and La Paz, you will kayak seven to fourteen miles a day in and out of the shadows thrown by the Sierra Gigante Mountains.

A support boat carries all camping equipment, personal gear, and the makings for tasty meals. There are even fresh water showers. A friendly crew handles camp set-up and prepares all meals.

You will explore sandy coves and inlets, hidden canyons and fascinating geology, spectacular desert vegetation like giant cardon cactus. With excellent snorkeling and fishing, and the chance to spot dolphins and whales your day will always be complete.

Your trip leaders will paddle with you sharing their knowledge of the area, take you on nature hikes and snorkeling. Your journey ends with a snorkeling adventure with the sea lions of Los Islotes.
