Cabanas Retiro Maya offer Eco-chic accommodation, therapeutical massages, exquisite Mexican and seafood cuisine, and personalized attention. The eco-lodge is surrounded by turquoise water and pristine white sand in the heart of Tulum, one of the very few destinations on the Southern Mayan Riviera still resisting to massive tourist resorts.

Retiro Maya's 13 cottages have been built in the respect of the property's natural surroundings: the Ecological Reserve of Sian Ka'an Each cabana features thatched palapa roofs, king size beds, doors with sea view, and shaded terraces equipped with lounge chairs and hammocks.
The lodge is located inside a National Park, therefore there is no electricity, and the bungalows are candlelit after sunset.

Some cabanas feature a private bathroom decorated with Mexican style tiles and a small garden; the others have shared facilities. They can accommodate up to 5 people.

Retiro Maya offers also a private house called 'Retiro Magico'; built to host families or groups. The idea is offering all the comforts of a home away from home, with nice decor, great sea view, and some extra privacy.
It features 3 rooms: 2 junior suites and the master suite with a huge thatched palapa roof, a king size bed, a comfortable sitting area, a large table, private bathroom, and two terraces equipped with lounge chairs, one overlooking the Caribbean sea, and the other facing the jungle.
Both Junior Suites have two king size beds that can convert into twin beds. The house sleeps up to ten people and features an airy kitchen decorated with Mexican style. The spacious living-dining area can be either opened or closed according to the weather, and it is surrounded by palm trees.

Amongst Retiro Maya's cuisine specialties are fresh ceviche, grilled lobster, authentic Mexican dishes, and tropical drinks.
For breakfast you can have freshly squeezed orange juice, seasonal fruits, eggs, French toast, pancakes, and freshly brewed coffee.
Room service is provided for the 'breakfast in bed' lovers.

Guests can enjoy romantic candlelit dinners in the restaurant, all home cooked, and drinks in the bars, one inside the restaurant and the other on the beach, where snacks are also served.

The ecoresort is located in the middle of the tropical vegetation, where you will experience peace and quiet, and enjoy the sound of the ocean. This soothing environment is perfect for relaxing and therapeutic treatments, and qualified therapists offer their massage and beauty services either in your cabana or on the beach.

Retiro Maya also hosts numerous spiritual retreats and workshops: a 30x24 feet screened meditation room with sea view and thatched roof is ideal for spiritual gatherings, yoga and meditation practises.During the retreats a special vegetarian plan made of three nutritious meals and healthy snacks is provided. Special menus and additional arrangements are also available upon request.

The staff will also assist you in organizing the many activities you can practise in the area, like open water and cenote diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and kiteboarding; natural excursions to the Sian Ka'an Reserve, and cultural and archeological trips to the various cities and Mayan sites in the Yucatan Peninsula.
