La Media Luna is a charming posada located in the heart of San Cristobal de Las Casas, just 100 meters from El Arco del Carmen, and the end of the Andador, the main pedestrian road that cuts right through the middle of the city.

It offers 11 spacious, airy and clean rooms with either a double bed, twin beds, or extra beds to accommodate up to 5 people, all decorated with local furniture and colourful textiles. Rooms feature private bathrooms with shower and 24 hours hot water and Cable TV.
For those travelling on a budget there are also 2 economic rooms which are slightly smaller and share a bathroom.

The common areas are bright and cosy, there are sitting areas in the patio around a small fountain and on the terraces leading to the rooms, where you can read a book or surf the Internet, as Wireless connection is available for free to all guests.

We like this posada for its happy atmosphere; every corner is an explosion of colours, flowers and brightness, and everything is clean and well kept.

Francesca, the new owner of the Posada since October 2007 is very friendly and helpful, and will be pleased to assist you with everything you might need during your stay in San Cristobal.

She can recommend you excursions, tours, and places to eat and have a drink. She also prepares hearty desayunos in the posada's lovely restaurant at very convenient prices, from Continental to full cooked breakfasts, Mexican style. Other meals can be arranged upon request.
