The hotel is located in the old Mexican town of San Felipe del Agua Oaxaca, nestling in the foothills of the Sierra Juarez mountains, and it is just a few minutes away from the heart of the historical center of Oaxaca. To arrive at the hotel from Mexico City, take the road that goes past the "Cerro de Fortín", past the Guelaguetza Auditorium, (be sure not to take the road that goes into the Center of Oaxaca) and on to "Niños Heroes de Chapultepec", then take "Las Rosas" street and follow this one way street up to San Felipe del Agua. Hacienda Los Laureles will be found just after the San Felipe Church. The outside boundery wall of the hotel is orange in colour.
