Hacienda Los Laureles is a renovated late 18th century hacienda located in a quiet residential area of Oaxaca, a colonial jewel in the south of Mexico, which has been declared by UNESCO to be an important part of the world's cultural heritage.
Oaxaca is a city with 450 or more years of post-Columbian and Spanish history and more than 3,000 years of pre-Columbian history, well preserved palaces and magnificent baroque churches, all built with the local green quarry stone, cantera, that attest to the masterful skills of the local tradespeople of Oaxaca.
The lifestyle of the region is reflected in the accommodations, some refined, some rustic, but unique in their own style.
The 23 spacious rooms and suites recreate the gentle atmosphere of the elegant Haciendas of the colonial times, with every terrace and patio overlooking the well manicured garden, the nearby mountains and the valley, and offer the perfect stay for those who want to experience the real oaxacan life indulging in modern comforts and enjoying a bit if luxury.
