Mar de Jade is 1-1/2 hours north of Puerto Vallarta, 3 hours west of Guadalajara, and two hours south of Tepic, Nayarit.
It is located on the south end of Chacala Beach, in the municipality of Compostela, state of Nayarit, Mexico.

If you take a taxi from Puerto Vallarta or Tepic, tell the driver that the exit for Chacala is just south of the town of Las Varas, Nayarit.

Airport pick-up can be arranged from Puerto Vallarta International airport upon request. Buses leave about every half-hour from Puerto Vallarta to Las Varas until 10:00 pm.
Finding a taxi in Las Varas after 10:00 pm can be difficult, therefore we recommend you to travel during the day.
