Patzcuaro is about 45 minutes from Morelia, and about 3 hours from Guadalajara, and Mexico City.

The closest airport is the Francisco J. Mugica in Morelia (MLM), which is only 1.5 hours away and now has direct flights from Mexico City, Guadalajara and Zacatecas as well as many international destinations including San Francisco, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles.

The Eco-Hotel in Patzcuaro is a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the Plaza Grande on the road leading up to El Estribo Grande in the Calvario neighborhood of Patzcuaro.

If you are coming from the Plaza Grande by car, head up Ibarra until you reach the Libramiento. Make a left on the Libramiento and then your first right heading towards El Estribo Grande. The Eco-Hotel is on your right-hand side about one block up from the look-out called 'La Luneta'.
