Las Casitas   •   Baja California

This lovely hotel is one of the historical places of Mulege and is located in the middle of town, just east of the town square.
It has been the favourite for many Baja travelers since 1962, who have been enjoying its friendly atmosphere end the exquisite hospitality of Javier A. Zuniga, a Mulege native.

The place is also popular with the local literati, as it was the birthplace of Mexican poet and composer Alan Gorosave.

It is a small inn with eight ensuite rooms with rustic and colourful decor, situated all around a courtyard just behind Las Casitas Restaurant and Bar, one of the most popular among the locals.

Guests can dine indoor or in the patio-garden, enjoying the shade provided by the many plants and trees adorning the courtyard.
The food is very good quality, with an emphasis on fresh seafood, and the buffet breakfast offer multiple choice of traditional dishes.

Live music is often played from 6 p.m. on and Friday fiestas include buffet and mariachis.

The bar has a steady clientele day and night and often features special sporting events on satellite TV.
There you can taste the best Margaritas in town (we have tried them ourselves!!!) together with many other tropical fruit drinks.
